Monte Castelgomberto
This is the scenery on the saddle between Monte Castelgomberto (in front) and Monte Fior. During the World War I this saddle was heavilly fortified. Today, there is an open air museum. You can see how trenches were excavated through rock formations which were already there. By the trench you see on this picture, you can walk up all the way on Monte Castelgomberto. Summer, 2013.
