A great spring morning on the summit of Monte Gambarogno! Across the upper part of Lago Maggiore there are Ascona and Locarno towns, behind them most of the high mountains of Ticino/Tessin can be seen. A cold windy day was driving clouds from the north across the main crest of Alps, but a clear day after rain was perfect for hiking. April 8th, 2012.
