Very impressive snow cornices. The summit cross (almost 4m high!) was still completely buried under an incredible mass of snow. The view from the top is truly unique: 5 mountain ranges (Majella, Gran Sasso, Velino/Sirente, Marsicani and Matese)! The north ridge, from Guado di Coccia, is highly recommendable.

Summer HikeHiked Porrara from the north along the long north ridge. Reached the summit around 10:30 and headed onwards to Ogniquota. Wonderfully panoramic hike
