| Second day of the Toscana vacation and a wonderful highlight: the ridge traverse to Monte Sumbra. After a long slog through a forest with lots of (wet) snow patches, finally reached the ridge above the vertical 700m south face of the mountain. As the north face als is very steep in several places, the traverse is a wonderfully exiting experience. Good views but Monte Sumbra is by about 100m to low to make them perfect. | |
