This picture was from night # 1 after the sun had set. I knew beforehand the evening skies were going to be lit up due to an almost full moon on both nights we stayed. Unfortunately night # 2 had a moon that was almost too bright, which caused a lot of the pictures to wash out, not looking good at all. For this particular picture I was able to prop my camera on a rock and set my shutter accordingly based on how each pic looked in the viewfinder after taking a pic. A lot of adjustment went into this shot, but resulted in a 15 second exposure to allow enough light to catch the stars in the background. What an amazing evening!
Enjoy!
