Moss-covered slabs at the...

Moss-covered slabs at the base of what I called the first gully (left of the main climbing area). I traversed this to go around the corner left (to eventually go up the wrong gully).

Wow

These are some great pictures of Wolf Rock. It sounds like more of a rock climbing destination, but these mossy chute photos look wholly unique for the Oregon Cascades.

You can find them here and there, especially in places where it is mostly rock with thin soil at best. Glad you enjoyed the pics. It definitely is more of a rock climbing place but offers some nice scrambly options too. It's a really cool place to check out if you get the chance.
