| In from Lake Sylvia via the south ridge and out on the west slope to Lyons lake. Great route and an awesome view at the summit. About a 12 mile trek from the Lyons lake TH. | |

| SMG - Up the Pyramid North Couloir to summit, down the sometimes exposed ridge traverse to Agassiz and back to Lake Sylvia. Fun scrambling on rock and snow. | |

| A short walk from Mt Price. The view was well worth it! There's a nice spot at the very top rock to sit and hang your feet over desolation wilderness. | |

| Up Pyramid from Rocky Creek, then over to Agassiz and Price following the ridge. Snow was pretty hardpacked and very icy on the north side of Pyramid. Never needed snowshoes all day, just crampons. Extremely windy, below freezing, and great views. | |

| Second peak of the day, on a traverse of the "big three" from Lyons TH. View of Agassiz in profile is spectacular (esp from Price). SE wall is an excellent scramble, but we came down it--not up. | |

| Along with Price and Pyramid, Agassiz was like my own private gym. One summer my friend and I helped the back country ranger carry out pieces of a single engine airplane. The engine is probably still there. It had smashed into the east wall of the Crystal range. We also helped the ranger hike out trash. It's amazing how much crap people leave behind. | |

| Up from Sylvia to Pyramid then along the ridge connecting Pyramid - Agassiz - Price. From Price down to Lyons Lake and then back to Sylvia. Way fun adventure of a ridge with overhangs, peaklets, knobs, pine labrynths, and views to absorb. Good times with J.A. Agassiz was the best part. | |

| right after the storm accompanied by the cold snap, stepped out of the car at Lyon's Lake TH to 31 degrees F and a cloudless day. 3-6 inches of snow on approach, some very crusty sections, frozen snowmelt streams with water seen running underneath (very trippy). LOTTA wind near and at the summit; summit block and the way up to it covered with snow, and my companions left for lunch rather than spotting me for the descent. good times. | |
