Bad Weather and Avalanches

Memorial Weekend up in Canada. Long road trip to Jasper National Park to attempt a summit of Mount Athabasca with the Spokane Mountaineers. Avalanche danger turned us around at 9,500 feet. On the way down we heard many avalaches around us, confirming our decision.
