Mount Baldy and Wildflowers

Mount Baldy and Wildflowers

A burst of wildflower color from sunflowers, paintbrush, and penstemon fills the trail while heading south on the West Maroon Trail towards Schofield. Mount Baldy (12,805 ft.) in the Elk Mountains (Colorado) is visible in the upper left corner. Photo taken 8/12/08.

Re: Passage to heavens?

The wildflowers on the West Maroon Trail last August were amazing - one of the best shows I've seen in Colorado.
