Easy, great viewsThis is short & sweet, and a perfect add-on after climbing Heliotrope. Easy to hike directly from campground or one of the nearby dispersed campsites. There's a faint use trail (primarily horse) that generally follows the easiest route up onto the broad summit plateau.

Longer Than It LooksIt looked like it was going to be a simple walk up, but the appearance of the mountain is deceiving. The eastern slope devoid of vegetation looks that was for a reason, even the gentler slopes were a little difficult to navigate. The views up top were amazing though.
