| 120 miles of visibility...only the second day this year! In talking to locals they said that many of them had been up in the area multiple times and NEVER had a day like that. From Washington down to Clay on to Jefferson and the rest of the northern Presidentials with a stopover at the Madison Hut. | |

| We climbed the fissure in the east face of Mt. Clay from the Great Gulf that is called Wair Until Dark Gully. It's a nice climb and the weather was absolutely stunning. We came from pinkham via damnation gully and the great gulf headwall and returned via wait until dark, Mt. Washington Summit and right gully in tuckermans after climbing the tuckerman headwall. A great day in the mountains. | |
