| #1 of Decalibron. Took me 3 hours from trailhead, no wind and plenty of sunshine. Awesome views. Wish I knew all the mountains I was looking at. | |

| My buddy Tim Foltz and I decided to head up the west face of the southern ridge, which made for a fun addition to the normal route from the east which we already had done. Yet, since we did not bring a rope - we realized at the summit that it wouldn't be safe to head back the way we came... so we ended up having to bag Cameron and come down to the 4WD drove to hitch hike all the way back past Copper Mountain. P.S. Its not so easy to hitch hike with an ice axe in hand... i suggest put it away... | |

| Democrat was a nice summit, took my two nephews and it was too much for them to go on to do the other three. So,,, I am going back this summer to complete the task | |

| There was a big early season snow a few days earlier so we got to about a mile short of Kite lake with our 2 wheel rental. The wind was howling probably 30-40 steady with stronger gusts. The altitude hit me harder than normal so I was slow which made it hard to stay warm. Snow was knee deep in places but we used micro spikes which was better overall than snowshoes. We still made fair time for flatlanders and had a good day. | |

| Started climbing around 7pm and summitted around 8:15 and hanging out on top for awhile. We were racing an incoming storm which was to start dumping snow around midnight. We then hurried down and drove out from Kite Lake right as snow started around 11. | |

| Summited Democrat as part of the cuadruple summit tour from Kite Lake on a windy morning. The creek was running pretty high even before sunrise. Total time for the tour was 4 hours. | |
