Mount Elbert from the west....
Mount Elbert from the west. Rather plain looking, isn't it, for the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains? This photo was taken from the summit of Casco Peak in August 2004. For a little brighter photo, from a slightly more northern aspect, see this shot of Elbert.
