Mount Emerson / Southeast Face Route Photo. Matthew Holliman leads off the first pitch of the Southeast Face. If you're comfortable soloing 5.4, you could leave the technical gear in the car. After the first 100 feet, the rest of the route is Class 3/4 on solid, sticky granite. June 9, 2005
