Actually this is the melt pond below Grinnell Glacier. Iceberg Lake is located about a mile north below Mount Wilbur and Iceberg Peak. But yes it is good to see these suckers floating in the water.

GNP = Heaven

Great collection of shots. I've been to GNP three times, but unfortunately it's been ten years. I still vividly recall being at the exact point this picture was taken. Of all the parks I've visited, Glacier seems the most alive. Sharp peaks, out-of-this-world views and all of teeming with wildlife. Thanks for posting.

I cannot disagree with you. This photo was taken from the summit of Point 8479. It was an odd year this year in GNP. I was up there about 30 times and each day was so different due to the fluctuating weather. Thanks for the comment.
