Still some good skiing
Hiked to above the waterfall, then it was near-continuous snow from ~2200m to the summit. This would have been an awesome ski a month ago, but it was still pretty fun. Trip report.

Should have skiied it!
So long in the summer but at least the weather is often better!

Ski ascent
Skinned up this one and climbed the last few meters with buddies Tabs, Hugo and Lisa. Had a blast, an amazing powder run down the upper mountain and some nice spring corn on the lower mountain. Took the skis off at the road, less than 50m from the car. Who could ask for anything more?

ski ascent
I bought my skis with objectives such as this in mind. Great day despite not having the summit view I was so looking forward to. The final scramble to the summit makes you glad you've hauled that ice axe/crampons, felt pretty serious especially with our conditions. The way down is fast when you can see where you're going!
Route Climbed: north glacier route Date Climbed: 5 Sept. 2003
Bill Marler (see below) and I made this 5000 ft. ascent in a little over 6 hours. Even with the smoky haze the view from the top made up for the poor rock quality at the summit.
Route Climbed: Normal Route Date Climbed: Back in the Day
A wonderful day with good friends! Although, we were a comedy of errors skiing down the glacier all roped together.. go figure: same taste in beer, different timing for turns.
