Linked Mt. Rose, Mt. Houghton via East Ridge, and Relay Peak yesterday. Great day, mostly quite easy class 1, but with some fun class 2-3 scrambling right in the middle of the day to mix things up. A nice way to get some decent mileage with fantastic views throughout.

Excellent Shortcut
Took this route as part of a loop of Church, Houghton, and Relay. Inadvertently tracked to far to the west, an area slightly steeper and looser than the described route. Stay further to the east, along the described route, if your looking for an easier climb.
