| My daughter Vanessa and I hiked to the highpoint after climbing the unmanned fire tower nearby. This was early in our highpoints quest, which I recently concluded at #49 . | ||

| Another fairly silly state highpoint. While the "mountain" has some interesting cliffs, to get to the top you pretty much drive up and stroll through the woods to a clearing there....hmmm I don't mean to sound like a snob, but really people, I guess it's a good day in the woods, stop and sit on the cliffs and enjoy the view of the valley on the way up. | ||

| lizrdboy | Perfect Day Hike ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 6, 2009 | |
| Drove down from Kansas to visit my 50th state and climb my 23rd highpoint. It was also my first peak with my 2 month old daughter! Nice trail (North Rim), warm breeze, several species of butterflies - it was truly a great day. | ||

| I actually got up on the rocks and tried to take a pic looking down on that picture in the ground. It turned out okay... | ||

| kavak | Signal Hill Trail ![]() Date Climbed: May 28, 2006 | |
| It was a beautiful day in the morning and it was pleasant hearing all the Ovenbirds calling in the foilage. Flat on top but they sure let you know you are there. Hiked it with my wife. | ||

| maddie77777 | Fog for me too ![]() Date Climbed: May 9, 2008 | |
| Foggiest drive up the mountain I've ever endured. It was cool and windy, and I just parked at the little trailhead leading directly to the top, due to the foul weather. Nice benches and signs at the top, though. I just wish I could have seen further than 50 feet in front of my face. | ||

| highlandvillager | Fog and Rain ![]() Date Climbed: Mar 29, 2008 | |
| We hiked from the lodge to the highpoint in a dense fog, then continued along the Mossback Ridge, Bear Hollow, Will Apple's Road, and North Rim Trails. The fog never lifted, so we missed out on the views, and even had difficulty locating one of the trailheads. We crawled into the tents at the beginning of a thunderstorm that raged all night, and got soaked trying to pack up in the morning. HP #5 | ||

| Redwic | Trail-Running After A Blizzard... ![]() Date Climbed: Dec 27, 2007 | |
| A winter blizzard had struck Mount Magazine prior to my arrival, but only cold dense fog remained during my visit. I spent the afternoon trail-running (in the snow!!!) along the Signal Hill Trail, Benefield Trails, Bear Hollow Trail, Greenfield Trail, and Mossback Ridge Trail. Some park visitors looked at me like I was crazy trying to reach the Signal Hill highpoint during those winter conditions, but such are the ways of a highpointer!!! | ||

| TJ311 | My First Summit ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 13, 2007 | |
| Sunny day, temps in the high 80's. Hiked the 7 mile loop from the visitor center to the summit and back. Had a bear encounter near the end. Didn't see it, but could hear it huffing in the very near distance. Even though this wasn't a difficult climb, I totally enjoyed it. It was my first highpoint and it got me hooked on a sport that I didn't even know existed. | ||
