| tseren | a LONG day ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 20, 2008 | |
| decided to do a solo day trip up maude to get myself in shape for an upcoming trip to the himalayas. started in before it got light, and got back to the car after it got dark. it was a long tiresome day, but so beautiful none the less. great weather and I met a very fat, lazy, and friendly marmot along the trail. | ||

| Part of a week long trip in the Entiat highlands, went up the easy SE side. I remember acting a little too casual around the cliffy summit and being sharply reprimanded | ||

| Rick Huff | Maude via Carne High Route ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 4, 2012 | |
| What a gorgeous area! I took the Carne Mountain high route...much more scenic and went cross-country from Chipmunk Creek basin to Ice Lakes. I'm hoping to come back for South Spectacle Butte and 7 Fingers later via Leroy Basin. | ||

| breauxtrahn | pleasant september trip ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 13, 2009 | |
| Nice camping in the Leroy Creek basin. Took this gully up (class 4+) and steep slope to pop out high up on the ridge. came back from saddle above Ice Lakes and lost trail. I could see the basin where my camp was and just bushwhacked in that direction until I got back to the trail. | ||

| Wingnut | Maude ![]() | |
| My first mountain, thanks to Bob Bolton and Duane Gilliland. I was in my mid teens at the time and climbed with some old steel toed work boots which were incredibly slick and cold. Good memories! I've been hooked on Mountains ever since! | ||

| basagix | Southwest Ridge ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 3, 2008 | |
| Approach via Leroy Cr with R3. Good hike up with snow slide on way down. Recommend the high route on the way out, little bushy, but very beautiful. | ||

| YEM | Western Red Gully Date Climbed: Jul 23, 2007 | |
| I took the route described by Eric Hoffman. Class 3 and the start was very close to my campsite in the upper basin. Camp at the moraine between 7FJ and Maude if doing both in a two day trip. The wide scree gully below the normal route was a quick dirty descent back to camp. Gaiters are recommended. | ||

| leftfield | Traverse, Part I, Southwest Ridge ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 12, 2006 | |
| Started at 4:30 a.m. from Leroy Basin to climb two unfamiliar mountains. Except for a nasty snow gully the trail led us right to the Maude/Ice Lake cirque. Contoured up from there. Easy climb, great views. 4 hours from camp. | ||

| Climbed the north face with Keith and Chris via Ice Lakes and Entiat glacier. The route was in good shape, the climbing never too difficult, in a very remote setting. More details from the climb are in my trip report. | ||
