| joseyinnet | White out ![]() Date Climbed: Dec 19, 2012 | |
| Climbed through the ice. Pretty stormy/windy/cold at the top, but really cool ice formations on the rocks! I could only stay at the top for about a minute since the wind was so strong. Good time to climb it in isolation though since there was hardly anybody else on the trails. | ||

| Climbed to the summit in a nice drizzle, which made a lot of the rock rather slippery. My cousin from Chelmsford accompanied me. He must have been 10 years old at the time. Some of the rock was very fun to boulder around on as it is of excellent quality. | ||

| jbonac | Hooked after the first time ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 4, 2011 | |
| My girlfrind, now my wife, took me on my first hike and it was a beautiful clear day. Went up the white dot trail which was easy to follow. The feeling of reaching the top was better than I had imagined and now I'm hooked! | ||

| Hiked Monadnock twice on two different routes. It is best to explore all that the trail system here has to offer, as there are trails of varying difficulties and lengths that are serendipitous in nature. | ||

| My husband and I hiked to the summit on New Year's Day. He had proposed to me on the mountain Dec 2011, so we went up for a reunion hike. Very different than last year, minimal ice but extremely strong winds at the top! | ||

| indianabob | Beautiful day on top of Manadnock ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 25, 2011 | |
| My wife and I and my dad climbed via the white dot trail and descended on the White Cross Trail. The hike satrted out cloudy and foggy but the fog began to lift as we climbed out of the trees. My dad decided to stop just past the White Cross intersection and Blynn and I finished without him. He's 77 and we may not have too many more opportunities to climb with him and it was great to have him along. The whind was howling at the summit. We only saw 11 other people the whole day. from what I hear this is unprecedented. | ||

| FugueManiac | Sunny but cold ![]() Date Climbed: Mar 21, 2010 | |
| A nice sunny day, warm and muddy low on the mountain, cold and windy on the top. Too many people for my liking but still a pleasant day with beautiful views from the top. Appropriately, had dinner at Annapurna in Boston that evening :) | ||

| speakorspasm | A favorite option ![]() | |
| Have climbed Monadnock many times, often because of poor weather up north or because its so darn easy to get to from Boston and I'm being lazy. Cascade Link/Spellman/Pumpelly was great on my last trip and probably the route I'll end up taking from now on due to the (relatively) less crowded nature of the trail and the fun scramble section on the Spellman spur. | ||
