Mount Moran on the right and...
Mount Moran on the right and Grand Teton left of center in mid October 2002. Where did all the water go? Record low rainfall in the summer of 2002 caused the lake levels in GTNP to go way down. It is now possible to hike along the edge of Leigh Lake to get to CMC base camp on Mount Moran. Hopefully, above average snowfall so far this winter will bring the lake levels back up in 2003.
