| On the way to Chiefs Head topped out on the rocky outcrop. Nice views of the surrounding area, but the pale in comparison to what was to come from the top of Chiefs Head, but it is still worthy of a visit on its own. | |

| We ended up on Mount Orton on the way up Longs. If you want to get into the basin from the North Ridge stay on it almost until Chief's Head then drop down. | |
