| Summited in June 2002 via the main route with a variation on top due to the snowpack. Failed on another attempt in April 2003 due to a heavy snowstorm. Got sick of waistdeep snow! Big shock - no views both times! | |

| OSAT group, as an outing from the annual fall car camp on Mtn. Loop Highway, decided we would climb Pilchuck, and then continue east on the ridge to Lake 22. Bathtub Lakes were nice -- so nice a couple of us stripped down to skivvies and swam. I lost a contact lens. Later, while bushwhacking down the ridge, looking for game trails and kicking steps in pine needles, I took a 20 foot tumble down a gully and twisted an ankle. We bailed on the Lake 22 idea, and came out via Pinnacle Lake | |

| Some nice blueberries on the trail. Someone has stolen the summit logs from the lookout house. We should get a new one up there. | |

| Hiked it yesterday with some friends. Temps were in the mid-90s in Seattle and the heat was brutal the whole way up. It was a fun, easy break from the tough climbs I've been doing lately. | |

| A nice late afternoon climb to the Summit. The road is impassable about 2 miles from the trailhead and the snow was just above the eves on the trailhead outhouse. The trail is in good shape but the snow is getting pretty soft so make sure and take your snowshoes. Lots and lots of snow at the summit. | Sun was out and I felt like leaving early. The chipmunk at the lookout was hungry so we shared a Cliff Bar. He likes Apricot! I had the summit all to myself. | |
