| This is more a variation on the standard west slope route because we had to backtrack from the cirque and shoot up a steep but stable slope. We had to work for this one. Dealing with the bog on ascent and descent was nothing compared with bushwhacking through the willows. On our way down, thought we'd never get out. Spalding's views make up for the pain though. | |
