Mount Untermann from the east. Usually there are snowbanks on the mountain, but few survived the drought of 2012. October 6 2012.

Yes, weird year.

We could see three snowbanks; one tiny one below the pass between Untermann and Lakeshore, a large one on Gilbert Peak, which was very distant and one on the north side of Chepeta Peak. I've never seen it so dry or barren up there.
