Southern summit ridge of Mount Victoria from Plain of the Six Glaciers. Normally, Lake Louise itself is an awful place to be due to the crowds, and the trail up here is about as peaceful and quiet as Manhattan during rush hour, but we hiked just after dawn and had the place to ourselves, encountering the hordes (and a mile-long line-- really-- of cars waiting for parking spots) only upon returning to the lake and our car.
