Mount Washington

Mount Washington

As seen from Wildcat Ski Area on a crisp March day in 2007. The observation towers can be seen at the summit. The obvious bowl to the left and below the summit is Tuckerman Ravine. The obvious ravine shown which is located right and below the summit is Huntington Ravine. Tuckerman Ravine is a very popular back country ski destination in the spring after the avalanche danges has subsided. It often showcases the local lunatics and party morons. While Huntington Ravine's Pinnacle Gully draws serious alpine ice climbers from all over.

great

Nice panoramic and a good explanation of the larger mountain. I'd never seen it from this view and had the mountain "mapped out" like this before. Thanks!
