... coming off the high area south of Rio Colca. And when I say high, I'm not kidding: at this point, Rio Colca is already at 3800m and the highlands south of here have peaks well over 5000m!
The good news is that there are very few (if any) people and not that many animals up there, so this water should be of excellent quality. To make sure, I had a filter with me.
