Nope, no corn fields. Thanks for the encouragement. I still have some more information to add. This is a great hike, with great views, and a lot of fun to climb. The short way to the summit is only 0.6 miles, so it is kind of like a mountain for those with ADHD.

I've only been able to do Clingman's Dome and Chimney Tops

back east but my wife is a civil war buff and I know we'll be making some trips back there for that. Meanwhile, there will be some good Appalachian stuff to climb on those trips so pages like yours are quite helpful.

Nice work on this one. I did it about 14 years ago and probably only remember because we got baked on top (or as near to the top as we could get)!
