Hi Mathias,

great page! Congratulations! I only miss the following:

  • the approach to the hut from the south (maybe you are just working on it)
  • Are there only these both routes you are talking about in the overview? If there are more, please tell us a little bit about them in general (difficulty, length)!
  • some links to general infos and mountain conditions
  • links to amazon.de (Munter) and dav-service or other stores concerning the maps

    Great page, never heard of this mountain before, but when I'm in the Bernese alps, i'll certainly consider climbing it.

    Es wäre gut wenn Du als Zweitname noch die richtige Schreibweise: GROSS GRÜNHORN eingibst.

    Hallo Cyrill, da es auf internationalen Tastaturen keine deutschen Umlaute gibt, habe ich wie üblich "ü" durch "ue" ersetzt, Sonst ersetzen sie nämlich "ü" durch "u" und das wäre ja ganz doof. (Guck nur mal was man hier aus dem Grünegghorn gemacht hat...) Aber die korrekte Schreibweise gehört natürlich erwähnt wie jetzt geschehen. Recht so? Gruß, Mathias

    Was hast Du eigentlich so für Erinnerungen an das Gross Grünhorn? Wie hast Du die Tour empfunden? Ich fand sie ganz toll. Die Kletterei (II) am Schluss am Grat, war die Krönung.

    Hallo Cyrill,
    wir hatten damals etwas Pech mit dem Wetter, weil es den Gipfel zunebelte. An eine besondre Kletterei am Grat kann ich mich gar nicht mehr erinnern, heikler war es von der Aufstiegsrinne auf den Grat zu kommen.
    Hier ist mein seinerzeitiger Bericht.
    Meine AV-Gruppe möchte nach Ostern in die Berner und auch auf das Grossgrünhorn gehen, aber das mute ich mir noch nicht zu.

    Schade hat das Wetter nicht hin gehauen. Die Rinne die dein Kollege runter fahren wollte, tönt noch abenteuerlich...Für mich zu schwer, bewundere ich Steilwandfahrer jedoch. So Kammerlander und Heini Holzer finde ich ganz coole Hunde!
