As I've become more curious about prominence, I've found the dynamics fascinating. A low mountain, like Lyman, with huge prominence! Very cool. In my neck of the woods, some of the most obscure mountains have rather high prominence. You might not otherwise consider climbing them. But when you do, the views are typically fantastic.
