Interesting page on the bay of Naples. In 79 AD, Pliny the elder should have been here rather than at Vesuvius

You beat me to it!

I got half way through preparing a page on this little mountain, which I think of as Monte Sant' Angelo. I thought Monte Faito was the top a few hundred metres along the ridge from the cable car station. Anyway I got the feeling that before going on I should look a little harder to make sure the page hadn't been created already under a different name - and looked at mountains 'near to Vesuvius' - and sure enough, found your work!
Anyway, nice page! And I agree with the previous writer, Pliny would have had a fantastic and much safer view of Vesuvius blowing his top on top had he made the ascent to the top of the Lattari - though it would have been a little harder without the cable car.
