I second wildstar: a great page even without photos. I like the way you explain the mountain names.

Judging from the pix, your climb was on a pretty cold day thought I noted that the top was swept clean. Nice page

Actually reasonably warm - maybe ten degrees on the summit. Fairly windy up there, but not too bad. It hadn't snowed much in the previous week, but the summits tend to get swept clean by the wind anyway. There were some really icy areas on the west sides of the summits - not something that would show up well in a photo unfortunately.

Awesome page! Great information and it looks like a lovely peak to summit. Do you plan on climbing North or South Twin Mountains anytime soon? I'm really interested in them because I plan on hitting those two in June. Thanks for sharing this great page and have a good one!

Great page.

I don't know if it is my computer or a problem on the page, but instead of apostrophes I am getting code.

Cheers.

IE 6.0. Hmm.

Oh goodness, why are you using THAT? Microsoft's own programmers don't use it much anymore - major security problems have been unfixed for months now.

But since you're certainly not the only one, I'll do some testing and see if I can find a better solution.

OK, the solution was to use numeric escapes (ie, ampersand- numbersign - 39 - semicolon) for apostrophes - IE 6.0 accepts that as does any standards-compliant browser. Let me know if I missed any on the page.

Another good one! From your most recent submissions, it's easy to see why they're called the White Mountains.

Thanks. Hey, didn't you once mention that you've got some photos of Guyot lying around?

Umm, yeah, somewhere. My only electronic version lacks something in resolution. I'll see if I can dig up the original at some point and scan it. Given yours, it doesn't add much.
