Well done for climbing it and for adding it to SP. It may have been an easy ascent but the area looks as hospitable as the surface of Mars. Just to survive there looks a challenge, never mind climb to over 21,000ft!

Thanks for your comment. It certainly is an inhospitable area - the second week we spent up there on the Puna the only signs of life we saw were 2 insects and a small patch of lichen! When the weather is bad it can be brutal up there - so I've added an extra section to the page to warn about needing to be prepared for this.
