Excellent page and nice pics. Great work. Congrats on your expedition.

One suggestion would be to place one of those shots as the signiature photo for the page. Hover you mouse over it, and it will tell you the id number. Now plug this id number into the signiature photo selection when you edit the page.

Cheers,

Martin

Very good page about a little known mountain. Keep up the good work!

- A friend of mine, a veteran of China Xinjiang Mountaineering Association told me that to his knowledge the peak is still unclimbed and that in 1998 indeed a Japanese team was on Lotus flower mountain. Nothing to uncommon, we have about 30 questionable ascent claims by Japanese over here -

It is very good mountain page and I live at the foot of Mt.Tian Shan, Bogda. You are welcome to pay a visit someday in the near future.

Very glad to see others are climbing in unclimbed regions of China and reporting it on SP. The Haiza Shan page is very good, gives useful beta and is inspiring. I must put it and the area north of Kangding on my list to climb in soon.

How often do you get to China to climb and are you interested in joining us in the Lixiang and Bogada areas for exploratory climbing?

Cheers!

latitude / longitude?

From your directions I'm guessing somewhere around N 31 deg, E 103 deg?

Re: latitude / longitude?

The exact location is Lat 30°22'45"N Long 101°41'57"E, see under Additions and corrections.

31°N / 103°E is the approximate location of the Four Girls Mountains(aka Siguniang, Yaoniang or Yaomei Mountain).
