Now come on VID, I'm still posting pictures! Thanks anyway - come back in 30minutes and you'll see some great orchid pictures.
BTW: doesn't this remind you of some of the summits you posted? White limestone? Impressive walls? I'm not sure if the pictures tell it but on location I felt reminded of some of your pictures.
Gangolf, you're encouraging me to do something. We have a nice hill in Istra, close to the sea. Only 1000 meters and some. But end of May there's so many flowers - an explosion, believe me - that I'd post it only because of them. But still, if people from Slovenia will read the page, the solitude of that beautiful meadows will be lost. I really don't know.
The idea is good and I don't think that the crowds will come - perhaps one or two. Just look at how many hits your pages get - if the mountains are not more than 3000m high you'll have to live with 200 hits a year. Now most of them are from the US anyway - the rest from Europe and only a tiny fraction from Slovenia. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to enjoy the place's loneliness for years to come :-)
Nice page. I haven't seen an orchid lover since my days in the Peace Corps. One of my coworkers was a biologist that spent all his spare time finding orchids in the jungle.
Thanks! Today the web.de Mailserver seems to be out to lunch so I didn't receive anything since last night. I suppose there are still some typos left somewhere :-)

Untitled CommentWell, what can I say? You just stumble over them up there. But they are surely smaller than the ones in the junge. Let's say 10 inches on the outside.
Thanks
