Binalood

Overview

It is the hihgest peak in my province ( khorasan ) . Many people climb it in deferent seasons . Except climbing in winter , there is no any problem or hard route !
The Binalood region include wide ridge in south of mashad and north of Neyshabour.There is four peak in the main region, named Soozani 1,2,3 and the main peak named Binalood. Although there is several peaks in the whole of ridge .
In the winter the climbing need proper equipment and expert leader . In summer there is the shortage of water and so it's not usual to climbing. The best time for climbing is middle of spring for amateur and winter for professional climber.
At this point the Binalood Mountains span a distance of 120 km. and separate the Kashaf Valley in the north from the plains of Nayshabur in the south. In spring and summer this region forms an excellent spot , full of natural enhancements !

Getting There

You can get there from Mashhad to the north face and from Neyshaboor to the south face .
From north way, you can start from several village.The most regular village to start is named "Frizi", about 50 Km from the Mashhad. To the south side of the region , from a village named "Someae".

Red Tape

No permits required . There are no summits fees !

When To Climb

All seasons climbers go there and climbe it easeily , except winter that there is so much snow , wind and coldness !

Camping

Camping allowed in the area , but there is 2 free huts in south face called Janpanah-e-do shahid & Janpanah-e-shahid modares and 1 free hut in north face called Janpanah-e-shahid imani .

Janpanah-e-do shahid : in 2400 m from sea level with a small spring near it , made by iron and wood . it needs about 3 hours walking from Someae to reach this hut and about 7 hours from that to the summit .

Janpanah-e-shahid modares : in 2830 m from sea level with a small spring near it , made by iron and wood . it needs about 7 hours walking from Frizi or Someae to reach this hut and about 2 hours from that to the summit .

Janpanah-e-shahid imani : in 2200 m from sea level with a small spring near it , made by iron and wood . it needs about 3 hours walking from Frizi to reach this hut and about 7 hours from that to the summit .
