Spring @ CraneDean-great job on the posting. I just got back from there for a weekend backpack trip and wanted to add some info for the next folks that head up there. The access road is only plowed to Rogger Meadow. So an April ascent from the north means that you have to hike on about 8 extra miles of forest road. A wonderful trip in the spring! Tons of snow up there, was able to hike about a mile past Willow Creek CG w/out snowshoes. Absolute solitude!
