this important peak. Obviously you had nice weather and a good view to Grossvenediger!
I would propose some spelling corrections:
Maurerkeeskopf instead of Maurerkerskopf
Maurerkees instead of Maurerkess
Grosser Happ instead of Grosses Knap
Simonyspitze instead of Symonispitze
I used Alpenvereinskarte of Venediger group. Yesterday I checked again and I don`t know what was wrong with me to write some names irregular. I must correct it now. Thanks again for warning me!
Thanks, Bor, Geiger was really missing. Thanks for adding it! If you have any information about skiing from the top, please add it. I have in may guidebooks the ski route towards the south and when we ascended Grossvenediger, there were some guys, telling us, that they continue on Geiger as well, So it can be done with skis also from that side.
In getting there you can mention Hinterbichl as a starting point of a tour (from the east side) - or the hut in the valley, where you can leave a car.
Ok Vid thanks! Thanks that you mentioned Hinterbichl so I added it to the Getting there section. If you have any detailed information about skiing from the Geiger tell me and I will add them. Because I can write that you can ski from the top over the glaciers and so on but I cannot give the detailed information about skiing trips on Geiger. My only sking tour in Venediger group was from the Grossvenediger.
Some impressions (not my photos)from a ski tour to Geiger via Kürsinger Hütte. Due to the glacier retreat some changes occured for the downhill
