OverviewPiz Turba 3018m is a mountain in the eastern part of Switzerland, in the Swiss canton Grisons (Graubünden). He is located in the Rhaetian Alps and the Platta Group. The mountain is at the end of Avers valley, which is famous for many beautiful ski tours in Spring time. Further valleys in the proximity of the Piz Turba, are in the east the Turba valley (Val Turba) and in the south the Lunga valley (Val Lunga). In the neighborhood one found the mountains Piz Piot 3053m, Piz Mäder 3001m and Piz Forcellina 2939m.
Route & DifficultySummer route:
Best start in village Juf 2124m. On a hiking trail on goes into Juferalpa valley and up to the pass "Fuorcla da la Valletta 2586m". Further to the point "Forcellina 2672m". Now the hiking trail ends and the route is pathless. Over the north flank one goes to the summit of Piz Turba 3018m
