Great Nevada addition! Perhaps add things like significance (is it a range or county high point?), notable peaks that can be seen from the summit, summit register condition and details, or surrounding attractions. Just some suggestions. Any Nevada peak added is great!
The road is now gated and locked near the abandoned buildings at 5700' and a sign says: mining activity. It didn't say "No Trespassing" so I climbed over the gate and hiked up the road. A couple of miles later I was approached by 3 men in a truck who said they were going to work at the mine. I asked if they knew which jeep road went to the Star Peak saddle, and they said I was on mine property and should get my ass off of it before someone who cared saw me.
I just checked: the canyon parcel containing the abandoned buildings is owned by Florida Canyon Mining, Inc., but further up it should still be BLM land other than a couple of thin claims.
