Hey Rob,

I have nothing against helmets, BUT after spending my early years not climbing with one I tend to chose when and where I need it these days. Half Dome (south face) has no natural rock fall. So unless one of the climbing parties above me drops something, or some tourist throws a rock off the summit, not much need for one. But it's a personal call.

Hey, who ever said I liked cameras??? But I think the background was awesome. Sorry you couldn't make the trip. Gail would have loved to put a harness on you had have you pull her up the trail :-)
