10/22/05: Mount Belford's northwest slopes, as seen from near timberline in Missouri Gulch. The deep snow made for a tough trudge to the summit.

Hasn't voted | The snow was between 2-3 feet deep almost the entire way from where this picture was taken. It was all fresh powdery snow, therefore very taxing to the legs.

Hasn't voted | On the day that I was up there, I was able to follow a trail the whole way to timberline, though it was difficult to find some times. With more snow it may require bushwhacking. | | Posted Dec 31, 2005 4:06 pm |
