Swimming in White Rock Lake....
Swimming in White Rock Lake. Icy cold, but so refreshing! Especially after several days out. July 2005.

rfbolton2005 was probably the best year for this...

Voted 10/10

...probably since 1975 - with so little snow over the winter. Some of the high lakes were very comfortable in 1975, due to even less snow and very hot conditions. It does look cold though! -Bob

Yeah, I got the impression that this year was really low in snow after talking with others that've done this in the past. This water was cold (the lake just to the right was still half choked with snow and ice), but I felt so great afterwards!
