Mr. Moose

Just as we were moving up to about the 8000 foot level, Mike stopped me and pointed down below us. First I saw this big fellow and then a couple moments later, another one about the same size joined him. To me it is amazing that these huge animals live so close to suburbia and they are such magnificient creatures. The morning light had still not hit this area so the moose was in the shadows. Thanks to technology, I was able to lighten the picture enough to show this guy reasonably. 7-14-09
