Mt. Dana 3rd Pillar | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
View of 3rd Pillar of Mt. Dana from the bottom. Thank you Tradmonkey for the photo. In conversations with asmrz about "The One That Almost Got Away", we've come to the conclusion that the first pitch of this route is actually part of "One That Almost Got Away." Thanks Alois for the clarification. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | rpc | dunno know | |

Hasn't voted | I just got word that this is the route that Jeff Maurer started up, pulled two pieces, and fell to his death on this fall - about midway up the first pitch. The pro is horrible at the crux, and you will be looking at ground fall from 60-80 feet on what I would estimate as hard 5.10 or easy 5.11. If you do decide to climb it, please be careful. | | Posted Nov 11, 2009 4:05 pm |
