Mt.Grintavec

Mt.Grintovec (2558 meters above sea level)is the highest peak of Kamniško-Savinjske Alpe group,an alpine range extending east to west just 20 km north from Slovenian capitol Ljubljana.The peak is an easy if rather phisical ascent because of its vertical distance from the valley floor(one has to cover nearly 2000 vertical meters), but you can overnight in a mountain Inn situated on the saddle called Kokrško sedlo at 1791 m above sea level during summer season.When under snow cover thingh are serious however, as an unchecked slide on the "roof" could mean one's last action.
