Very thorough T/R. You ended up making the same decision we did a week earlier about descending Old Army Pass!
Interesting how the extra elevation gain snuck in there...
Great trip report and pictures. A friend and I plan to do the Langley/Cirque circuit as an overnight hike August 5-6, and this gives us an excellent sense of what to expect.
My buddies and I used your report as a great time gauge while hiking. We ended doing 12hrs 36min car-to-car. If it had not been for your report I don't think we would have tried to hike 22mi in one day. Thanks a lot!
