Mt Lyell

Photo of Mt Lyell from the ridge directly north of the peak. The snow trail traversing the Lyell Glacier can be seen below the summit along the standard route. Climbers usually either climb the 4th class west ridge (right side) or ascend one of the class 3 chutes going up the right-side to the summit ridge. Photo taken Sept 6, 2009.
