Seen from the Dry Creek Valley, the west summit is lightly dusted with snow. The Palisades can be seen to the right of the mountain. They offer much better hiking and at Table Rock, better climbing than is found on St. Helena itself, plus you get views of the mountain along with the Napa Valley.
